This is a longer video of my experiences completely disassembling my Grizzly 7×14 Mini Lathe to replace the motor pulley, as well as upgrade the plastic gears inside the headstock to Steel, and change out the Spindle’s bearings from Ball Bearings to Tapered Roller Bearings. I also took the opportunity to give everything a thorough cleaning and make sure all of my gibs and ways were in good adjustment.

This project was seemingly daunting, but it went smoother and quicker than I even thought and the end result is well worth the money and effort.
